Also includes the 1938 supplemental list of Hadley chests discovered since publication of the book in 1935, plus changes in ownership of some of those documented in the original text. Hard-to-find, definitive book on the Hadley chest, generously illustrated in black and white. Linen cloth with tan spine and cover labels, pictorial endpapers, 145 pages, printed dustjacket. The book looks and feels new, with no names or other markings, original label from the Old Stubridge Village Bookshop on front free endpaper. The dustjacket is plain tan and has a bit of wear with little paper loss, area near the spine foot darkened from old personal library label. A clean and sound copy of this important text on the history and identification of Hadley chests.
